... "Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags are being used by the military to track everything from butter to bullets. In an effort to take full advantage of the inherent life-cycle asset management efficiencies that can by realized by RFID, DoD has established a policy for the use of RFID. This session will discuss the benefits of RFID tagging, movement to a single standard and the status of implementation of that standard, and interference issues associated with RFID.
