Recent survey shows U.K. is slow to implement RFID... A survey by supply chain association e.centre shows that despite a belief in RFID's benefits few U.K. companies plan to implement the technology this year...

However, consider that the U.K is implementing Oyster Cards, based on RFID technology in their public transportation systems --- The London Tube, etc. --- progress is being made... So much for surveys.
