and system integration service investment. Data that originates from
RFID tags must be collected sorted and integrated with operative
corporate software. To date integration has been a secondary concern
in RFID project planning. This is rapidly changing as consumer
packaged goods CPG and retailer RFID integrator staffing demands
will skyrocket over the next five years.

EPCglobal is working to help facilitate standardization and
